Kenneth was born weighing only 1lb 15oz and today he weighs 6lbs 8oz. When I first checked into the hospital, 27 weeks and 3 days pregnant, my worst fears came true. Twenty-six years ago, my mother also delivered a premature baby weighing 1lb 15oz who did not survive. However, Dr. Krishna Rajani came to see me while I was on bed rest and my fears disappeared. I knew my baby would live! The NICU here is amazing and what you do for these babies and families is indescribable. So again I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart. In turn we now instead of bidding you goodbye we say see you later because you will be seeing us again! – Korri Whitley
Dr Rajani – I can’t express how grateful Robbie and I were to have you as one of Colton’s doctors. You made Rob feel so comfortable with always updating him in Colton’s care. We feel that you and Dr Siddique went above and beyond for us. Thank you for your compassion and love in what you do for millions of babies. I appreciate your profession even more after our experience in the NICU. – Liz Erickson
Dr. Elliott took care of my son for 4 weeks in the NICU, he is an amazing doctor. He would call me every morning with updates and encourage me when I was down. Wonderful doctor. – Beth Tarmann Patel
We are forever grateful to the doctors and nurses for taking such awesome care of our daughter Briana. They truly saved her life. She was born at 25 weeks and 6 days weighing 1 lb 11 1/2 ounces. Because of the doctors and nurses, Briana and us got through the 115 day NICU stay at CRMC and she’s growing and thriving. She’s now 8 lbs 13 oz. Thank you Dr. Elliot, Dr. Rajani (Jr & Sr), Dr. Aguilar, Dr. Kumar, and all of the nurses for believing in her and supporting all of us during such a hard time. We appreciate all of you from the bottom of our hearts. – Jaclyn Hernandez

I have wanted to follow up our visit with a letter to update you about Tynan. He is now a high school graduate and is looking forward to attending UC San Diego in the Fall. He has come a long way since he entered this world unexpectantly at 3lbs 14 ounces. After being cared for by you and your staff for 3 weeks at Valley Children’s Hospital in 1994 – he thrived for the next 18 years. Now he is a wonderful young man ready to enter college. Thank you for making that possible! I found some old photos that I thought you might enjoy seeing…If any worried mom would be encouraged by seeing a “success story” please feel free to share the photos. So – thanks again so much! All of the Yanagas will be forever grateful for your dedication and skill at helping babies. – Debbie, Randy and Tynan Yanaga

Dear Dr Rajani – How can we ever thank you enough for all of the wonderful love, care and attention you gave to our 4 babies? You are so special to us and we love you so much for the miraculous work God does through you. Thank you for all the years of hard work you have devoted to being the best doctor and person you can be. Please continue to do the wonderful job you do so that other parents can have their babies at home with them too. We hope you never forget us – as we’ll never forget you 🙂 We’ll be sure to raise these babies knowing they are alive due to a huge part of you. – Matt and Jennifer Jones
Dr Rajani and Staff – We can’t find enough words of kindness and thanks for everything that you all helped us with. Not only was our son taken care of, but everyone took the time to ask how we were doing and allowed us to relax and feel comfortable with our son being in your hands. Dr Rajani, you are an incredible doctor! you were very open for questions and also very descriptive in procedures and made things very easy to understand! Your kindness was greatly appreciated! You are truly amazing! – Antonio and Marjorie Mayen
